I am a board-certified psychiatrist with expertise in psychopharmacology and more than twenty years of clinical experience. I completed a psychiatry residency training at the Mount Sinai Medical Center (New York, NY) and a fellowship in biological psychiatry and psychopharmacology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Bronx, NY).
My clinical experience encompasses outpatient and inpatient care. I had several faculty positions including Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Hofstra North Shore – Long Island Jewish School of Medicine, and more recently at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. I also have teaching and research experience including supervising psychiatric fellows, residents, and medical students and publishing in the field of mood, anxiety, psychosis, and substance use disorders. I am currently affiliated with the James J. Peters Veterans Administration Medical Center.
I welcome new patients. The office is located on the main floor of a doorman building near the United Nations in Midtown Manhattan, and the entrance is through the lobby.
